Pascal Gross has received his first ever call up to the German national team.
Albion's 32-year-old played for Germany up to under 20 level but has never made a senior appearance.
Germany play Japan in a friendly on September 9 and France on September 12.
Pascal Gross recently became Brighton's top goal scorer in the Premier League era with 27 when he scored against West Ham.
Last season was his best yet in his six years with Albion.
He registered nine goals and eight assists last season.
