Andi Zeqiri has parted company with Albion.

The Swiss striker has joined Genk on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee understood to be about £2.4 million.

Zeqiri, 24, joined the Seagulls from Lausanne three years ago but struggled to make a Premier League impact.

He scored in the Carabao Cup win at Cardiff City and was a willing worker in a wing-back role when Graham Potter was in charge.

Zeqiri was on loan at Basel last season and Albion technical director David Weir said: “He is now ready to play regularly somewhere on a permanent basis.

“This is a great opportunity for Andi and we wish him the best of luck for the future.”
