Brighton are set to play their second Europa League match of the competition on Thursday (October 6) and will be taking on French side Marseille.

Albion's opening group stage match saw them lose 3-2 at home to Greek side AEK Athens, with two penalties from João Pedro not enough to earn them at least a point.

Roberto de Zerbi will be aiming to improve from that result, as well as bouncing back from a 6-1 humbling at Aston Villa in the Premier League last weekend.

If you're not among the contingent that will be watching the match in Marseille, here's how you can catch it on TV.

How to watch Marseille vs Brighton in the Europa League

Marseille vs Brighton will be shown on the TNT Sports 2 channel on Thursday, October 6, with coverage beginning at 5pm before the game kicks off at 5.45pm.

If you are watching on Sky the channel number is 411, on BT TV it is 409 and on Virgin Media it is 528.

Brighton's form heading into Marseille match

The Marseille match will only be Brighton's second-ever match in a European competition, and their first away from home.

Outside of the recent Aston Villa loss Albion's form has been sparkling this season, with their free-scoring style of play helping them sit in sixth place at the moment in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Marseille have not had a brilliant start to their domestic season, currently finding themselves in 12th place after seven games.

Brighton will be hoping they can capitalise on Marseille's inconsistent form to get their Europea League campaign properly underway.
