Pascal Gross says Albion can cope with frequent team changes as Roberto De Zerbi plans to tackle Liverpool.

The Seagulls’ head coach could rotate again after the demands of Thursday night’s 2-2 draw at Marseille.

Tomorrow’s visit from the Anfield outfit completes a demanding series of games and takes Albion into an international break.

De Zerbi has said ideally He would not make so many changes but Gross is happy his side are ready for such circumstances.

The midfielder said: “That is normal if you play every three days.

“We have a really good and we have 20 top players and that is not a problem because we train every day together.

“We are not training with 11, we are training with 20.

“We train with mixed teams every day so we all have a relationship.”

Gross was not expected to return until after the international break but said: “The recovery went quite well.

“The staff and I tried everything. With an injury you are always pushing and everything is fine.”

Gross is among the players on who De Zerbi and his medical staff will keep a close eye going into the Liverpool game.
