Pascal Gross will have a Euros spurring him through the season.
The Albion midfielder made his second start in quick succession for Germany overnight.
Gross, who was outstanding in the 2-1 win over the USA in Connecticut, played just the first half this time as his side drew 2-2 with Mexico in Philadelphia.
Albion will check on Gross’s fitness when he returns from a game which kicked off at 1am on Wednesday our time.
Gross is now being widely seen in Germany as a likely selection for Euro 2024, which the nation hosts next summer.
However he told Sport1 TV: “It’s a long way away.
“Being here and representing the German colours is a lifelong dream.
“I always want to do my best when I get the chance.”
Gross has impressed after being paired with Ilkay Gundogan in midfield by new boss Julian Nagelsmann.
