Albion will have a rare meeting with referee Michael Salisbury when they play Fulham.

Salisbury was the VAR official for their 2-1 defeat at Manchester City last week.

He Lancashire-based official had the same role, more controversially, when they went down by the same score at Tottenham last season.

But he has not refereed them in person since the 2-0 defeat at Brentford almost a year ago.

He took charge of the 1-0 win at home to Leeds early last season when he booked unhappy away boss Jesse Marsch.

Salisbury has only had the whistle five times so far this term, showing yellow cards and no reds.

Peter Bankes will have VAR duties on this occasion.

Referee: Michael Salisbury. Assistants: Tim Wood, Derek Eaton. Fourth official: Tim Robinson. VAR: Peter Bankes. Assistant VAR: Nick Greenhalgh.
