In recent years Christ's Hospital have had a tough time of it on the cricket pitch, In the summer of 2019 The school equalled it's record of 10 wins in a season but last season the squad were only able to secure one, in the 1st XI vs staff match. This disappointment only served to make the news of Year 11 pupil Joshua Silva's acceptance into the Sussex CC youth squad all the more exciting, and this summer's prospects perhaps more hopeful. This is hopefully a sign of a revival of quality cricket at CH with Joshua saying:
'I was elated when I found out I had gotten into the squad, I love cricket and this is proof that hard work and determination can get you what you want!'
Well done to Josh for his achievement and We wish him all the best at Sussex for his cricketing future!
