Albion will have under-21s in their matchday squad again at Chelsea.
But Josh Duffus will not be among them.
Frontrunner Duffus went on as sub late in the Europa League game at AEK on Thursday.
The following night he started for the Seagulls under-21s in a Premier League 2 game at Fulham.
UEFA rules mean more recent academy signings are not eligible for the Europa League, which ruled out players such as Mark O’Mahony.
Striker O’Mahony, who arrived from Cork City last January, will be in the squad at Chelsea today.
Benecio Baker-Boaitey, Imari Samuels and Leigh Kavanagh are also expected to be on the bench at Stamford Bridge.
None of them featured for the 21s on Friday as Albion lost 3-0.
