Albion will hope for another enjoyable midweek night at the Amex when Peter Bankes takes charge of their game against Brentford.
It will be his first middle at the venue since taking charge of last season’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Bankes came under scrutiny when Cheick Doucoure escaped a second yellow card late in the first half.
"It's more of a yellow card than the yellow card he got!" co-commentator and former England player Alvin Martin told TalkSPORT listeners.
Andy Madley will be on VAR duty as the Bees visit.
Bankes kept his cards in his pocket when he refereed Brentford earlier this season as they drew with Crystal Palace.
He then produced 12 yellows and his only red this season in his following match, Tottenham v Sheffield United.
Bankes has shown 50 yellows in his nine games, as well that red for Blades striker Oli McBurnie.
The full officiating team for Albion v Brentford is as follows.
Referee: Peter Bankes. Assistants: Eddie Smart, Nick Greenhalgh. Fourth official: Graham Scott. VAR: Andy Madley. Assistant VAR: Adrian Holmes.
