Albion showed their support for Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign and LGBTQ+ inclusion as they played Brentford.

Players warmed up in T-shirts designed by Albion fan Livs, 14, from Bognor.

Her design was voted the best of many competition entries by a panel which included Norman Cook.

The stadium was lit up in rainbow colours as the Seagulls beat the Bees 2-1.

Albion chief executive and deputy charman Paul Barber said: “At our football club we have forged strong links with our local LGBTQ+ community over a number of years and, of course, we are honoured to be a key participant at Pride in the city each August.
