Wolves have revealed they tracked Eastbourne Borough striker Fletcher Holman for months before making their move.

The 19-year-old has joined on a permanent deal and will link up with their under-21s.

Harry Hooman, head of UK academy recruitment for the Molineux outfit, said: “We’ve been tracking his progress over the last few months.

“We’ve been at most of his live games and watching him on video when we’re not there in person.

“He has impressed us and has done well there.

“We had the opportunity to bring him in for a few days to have a look and we liked what we saw so we’ve moved quickly.

“He will be a good addition to the under-21s.”

Holman had a brief spell with Albion in his early teens but came through the junior ranks at Borough.

He has scored ten goals in 15 games in his first season of men’s football.

Borough have their first home game under new boss Adam Murray tomorrow as they host Hastings in the Senior Cup.
