Albion star Julio Enciso has been pipped to top spot in the FIFA Puskas Award.
His superb strike against Manchester City last season was effectively placed second in a world goal of the year category at this evening’s The Best gala occasion.
Enciso fired into the top corner from outside the area to crown a flowing move from back to front (twice) by the Seagulls.
Top spot went to an extraordinary overhead kick by Guilherme Madruga in the Brazilian second tier.
