Simon Adingra is back in training with Ivory Coast.

But the medical and coaching staff have not yet decided whether he is ready for action.

The Albion wideman is away at AFCON.

His national team coach said the recovery from a hamstring problem is progressing as expected.

Adingra saw his impressive debut Premier League season interrupted during the recent 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.

Along with Sebastien Haller, he sat out the opening 2-0 win over Equatorial Guinea.

The host nation play Nigeria tomorrow and neither man has been ruled out.

Speaking at today’s press conference, head coach Jean-Louis Gasset said: “Sebastien and Simon have resumed training with us, they have put on their studs.

“We are still within the anticipated timescale.

“We still have another training session.

“We will go with the medical staff if they can take part in the match.”

A win would put Ivory Coast through to the last 16, which takes place between January 27-30, with a match to spare.

With the exception of long-term absentee Solly March, Albion's injury woes appear to be clearing.

Tariq Lamptey has been shown training with the squad as they prepare for their return to league action at home to Wolves on Monday.
