Dancing queen Emma Kullberg celebrated in style after a stunning hat-trick sent Albion through in the FA Cup.

The Swedish defender, who had not previously scored for the club, came on as substitute and hit three goals in the last ten minutes.

Her close-range treble secured a 4-1 win at third-tier Wolves, who had come back after conceding an opening goal to Katie Robinson.

It was a great way for them to end a testing first week under stand-in boss Mikey Harris.

Albion go into the quarter-finals for the third time in four years. The draw takes place this evening.

Harris said: “She is absolutely buzzing. As she returned to the changing room there was some Abba playing, she was dancing and everybody was bouncing off the walls.

“I am over the moon for her and the team because we have worked hard this week on the sort of goals we want to score and the sort of chances we want to create and she scored three of them in eight minutes.

“I’m delighted for the staff and players.”

Kullberg said: “I can’t really believe what happened but I’m very happy.

“It was good crosses, a good cutback and I really believed in myself in those moments.

“During the whole game it felt like we were really close a few times.”

Kullberg restored the Albion lead on 88 minutes by touching home a perfect cross delivered by Vicky Losada.

Her best finish saw her guide home a cutback from Tatiana Pinto with a precise left-foot finish.

She than arrived at the far post to head home a Poppy Pattinson cross.

Wolves had made a bright start to the tie but Robinson put Albion ahead from a cross delivered by Pattinson.

The hosts gave Albion a thorough test and levelled from a contentious penalty awarded amid jostling in the goalmouth at a set-piece and drilled into the bottom corner by Beth Merricks.

Albion: Baggaley, Mengwen (Kullberg 63), Bergsvand, Carabali, Pattinson, Robinson (Sarri 63), Zigiotti (Losada 45), Symonds, Pinto, Lee (Hall 90+4), Terland (Dent 90+4).
