Stuart Attwell will take charge of Albion’s game at Sheffield United.
An experienced officiating line-up also includes Michael Oliver on VAR.
Attwell’s last trip to Bramall Lane was for a rare Blades win as they beat Brentford 1-0.
He was also in the middle when Newcastle won 8-0 there.
Albion fans last saw Attwell during their side’s 3-1 win at home to Newcastle.
The Warwickshire official has reffed 16 games across the competitions this term, showing 65 yellow cards and three reds.
