Roberto De Zerbi has praised his side's patience at Bramall Lane.

The Albion head coach was pleased with the way his side ran up a five-goal haul at Sheffield United and also kept their first winning clean sheet of the Prem season.

He revealed: “I said at half-time the game was not closed.

“We needed to close the game, to kill the game, to score more goals, to keep the attention and the focus and not to concede counter-attacks, not to concede stupid goals in set-pieces.

“We played with more patience in the second half.

“We had not so many chances to score in the first part of the second half but we controlled the game very well.”
