Everton are out of the relegation zone ahead of their trip to the Amex.
But a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace stretched their winless run to eight games in the Premier League.
Amadou Onana headed home from a corner on 84 minutes to nudge Everton above Luton on goal difference.
Palace, watched by new boss Oliver Glasner, led for 18 minutes through a super strike from Jordan Ayew.
Everton’s last win in the league came at Burnley two months ago.
