Albion cruised to success at ten-man Sheffield United – as their fans lapped it up.

We asked these long-time, match-going supporters for their thoughts on the 5-0 win at Bramall Lane.

And, while it was admittedly a question with an obvious answer, we had to ask about wingers Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra.

1. What were your thoughts on Albion’s performance at Sheffield United?

James Heasman: This was a really comfortable victory, and arguably we played better against Tottenham. We made the pitch nice and wide against ten men and dominated possession. There won't be many more comfortable games. Usual refereeing gripe - it was amazing that in real-time the referee deemed the 'assault' a yellow card! Certainly worth the journey.

Alan Brownings: A solid performance and great to have two recognised wide men back. What a difference Mitoma and Adingra make to us.

Colin Beales: An absolute dominant performance, of course aided by Sheffield's early sending off for a horrific challenge. As the game developed we seemed to grow in threat and looked dangerous continually, particularly using the recently missing wings. A great team performance.

Tim Ayling: It was a training exercise really, especially after the assault on Mitoma. Sheffield United, bar one or two players, aren't at the levels required for the Premier League. Still, you can only beat what's in front of you and we were very professional.

2. Who stood out for you from the Albion team?

James Heasman: I thought everyone was a steady 7-out-of-10 with the exception of Simon Adringa, who looked really confident and was a continual threat, and was a clear standout for me.

Alan Brownings: A solid all-round display. Mitoma and Adingra obviously, Gilmour too. But I’m going to have to say Gross, who seems to be involved in everything.

Colin Beales: It was the two wingers, Mitoma and Adingra that stood out for me. Not a huge deal between them as they both were quality throughout the game putting ball after ball into the box as well as taking on their own chances.

Tim Ayling: Billy and Gross were superb and no one laid a glove on them, but the wingers ran the show - United couldn't get near them. I felt sorry for the full-backs at times. The only disappointment for me was that Ferguson didn't get a touch on the fifth goal as it could have got him up and running again.

3. How key will Mitoma and Adingra be for the run-in if they can stay clear of injury?

James Heasman: I think they are massive to our team. Although we have done relatively well in their absence, there is no doubt we are far better with them in the team, and we absolutely need them if we are to challenge for anything this year. Hopefully Barco can get up to speed quickly and provide further cover on the left-hand side and Tariq Lamptey can stay fit.

Alan Brownings: Massive. If they stay fit then I think as a minimum we’ll win the race for sixth place.

Colin Beales: On this performance they really showed what we've been missing whilst they've been away on their respective international tournaments. Hopefully more of this will be that vital edge we've lacked to turn some games into wins.

Tim Ayling: Obviously very key! Any team wouldn't be the same without those two. It also feels like we do have a little bit of cover there now too, with Buonanotte and Lamptey playing well an Enciso close to returning.
