Vicky Losada says Albion must be mentally ready for one of the toughest tests in the WSL.

The Seagulls host title-chasing Manchester City at Broadfield Stadium today (12.30pm).

It is another huge challenge following last week’s 4-0 defeat by Manchester United in the FA Cup.

Albion have changed their way of playing under interim head coach Mikey Harris.

Losada said: “We need to keep improving in the games, playing Manchester City, United, playing teams that have had a squad together for a long time and also changing the style we had before Christmas. That’s the reality.

“I think we need to be patient and keep working because it is about what you do every day that determines where you will be in the future.

“I think we are having really good moments in the game.

“It’s about being more consistent and managing some moments in the game.”

The Albion captain added: “It’s a nice process. This is football.

“I don’t think we have to make a big drama of it.”

The match is being televised live on BBC2.
