Albion have secured another of their young hopefuls on a long-term deal.
Irish striker Mark O’Mahony, 19, has committed until June, 2027.
The forward from Cork has been in first-team squads, most recently in the draw at Brentford last week, when he at one point seemed poised to get on for his Premier League debut.
The announcement follows that of Jack Hinshelwood's new contract, which was confirmed yesterday.
O’Mahony recently made his debut for the Republic of Ireland under-21s and has scored ten goals in 11 Premier League 2 outings so far this season.
In the announcement of the deal, Albion technical director David Weir said: “Mark has done really well since joining us in January last year and we’re very happy with his progress. We’re pleased to see him commit his future here.
“His form for the under-21s has seen his regular involvement with the men’s first-team squad, and this new contract is recognition of that.”
