Carlos Baleba been told he is making progress – despite a costly error at Burnley.
The midfielder’s short back pass helped the hosts to the opening goal in a 1-1 Premier League draw.
Baleba generally had a good game and showed more eye for a shot than in previous outings.
Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “Yes, I think he played a good game. Carlos is improving in this last part of the season.
“We can’t forget he is 20 and I don’t know how many games in the Premier League he has had.
“We have to respect that and we have to respect our policy.”
