Raiders quickly put themselves on the scoresheet with an Ollie Crow try within two minutes and the hosts dominated possession and territory for the majority of the first half.

Despite North Walsham looking to get into the game, Worthing stifled their momentum when centre Jack Forrest nabbed an interception to sprint under the posts unopposed.

Worthing secured their bonus point try midway through the first half after another interception from Harrison Sims made another interception to set up Curtis Barnes for his first score of the day. Ollie Crow added the fourth try of the afternoon after running in from short range.

Despite having a man in the sin bin Raiders continued their dominance and added a fifth before the break. Winger Frank McMillan made an aggressive burst out wide before Frank Taggart took on defenders and fed the ball inside to Cam Dobinson who crossed the whitewash for the fifth try of the day.

As the rain began to pour in the second half Raiders added two more scores to put themselves 45 points ahead. Harrison Sims scythed his way through the North Walsham defence before Frank McMillan added his own score.

However, a driving maul from a penalty kick saw Ben Featherstone touch down for another Raiders score.

After North Walsham added their final score of the day, Raiders took back control for the final ten minutes of the season.

Winger Curtis Barnes showed his class as he swept past defenders having picked the ball up from his own try line. Having broken numerous tackles, he once again touched down to secure his brace for the afternoon.

With a couple of minutes left to play the hosts rounded off the scoring when Fraser Bruce, finding himself in mid-field, burst through the defensive line and showed great pace to sprint forty metres to cap off a dominant win for Raiders to end the season.

Worthing will now look to take positives forward into next season having secured their status in National League 2.
