England winger Katie Robinson is leaving Albion.

She confirmed her departure via social media this morning after four years at the club.

Robinson, whose contract expires on June 30, thanked team-mates, staff and fans for their support.

She progressed to be part of the Lionesses squad at the most recent World Cup.

Robinson was offered a new Albion deal, along with top-scorer Elisabeth Terland, Julia Zigiotti and Dejana Stefanovic at the end of last season.

Albion are going through a season of change as they prepare to appoint a new head coach.

They recently let go senior internationals Tatiana Pinto, Emma Kullberg and Veatriki Sarri.

Lee Guem-min has already agreed a new deal.

Robinson made 69 appearances for the Seagulls in all competitions and scored ten goals.

Zoe Johnson, managing director of women’s and girls’ football, said: “Katie has played a key role in the club’s development in the WSL over the last few seasons and contributed significantly both on and off the pitch. We wish her all the best for the future.”
