Sussex are waiting to hear whether they have a three-pronged all-England pace attack for the Vitality Blast run-in.

Ollie Robinson has impressed in T20 to date and is on board for the game against Kent at Hove on Thursday (7pm).

Skipper Tymal Mills has been in good form and there is still hope Jofra Archer could join up with the Sharks after the T20 World Cup.

Robinson could feature for England in the Test series against West Indies.

Asked about Robinson’s availability for the Blast, Mills told The Argus: “We will find out if he gets picked for the Test series or not.

“We have definitely got him next week and then the team goes back to playing four-day cricket.

“By then, he will know whether he is in the Test side or not.

“If he is, he will go off with England, which is great for him.

“If not, I’m assuming we will continue to have him, which is great.

“Fingers crossed we might even see Jofra as well in the second half after the World Cup but that is still be confirmed.”

Sussex visit Hampshire on Friday and there is then a break in Blast action until July 5.

The county start a Championship fixture against Leicestershire at the 1st Central County Ground on Sunday.

Tom Haines, Ari Karvelas and Sean Hunt are among the men playing in a 2nd XI Championship fixture away to Hampshire, which started yesterday.
