Mahmoud Dahoud’s hugely disappointing time with Albion is drawing to a close.

The midfielder’s return to Germany is among the items on the agenda heading into the final hours of the summer transfer window.

He is set to head to Eintracht Frankfurt having not featured in pre-season fixtures under Fabian Huerzeler.

Dahoud showed promising signs soon after signing from Dortmund last summer.

But he struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League and fell firmly out of favour with previous boss Roberto De Zerbi after his red card in a draw with Sheffield United.

Jeremy Sarmiento is expected to head to Burnley on loan with winger Amari Cozier-Duberry likely to team up with their arch rivals Blackburn.
