Albion remained undefeated as the they battled out a thrilling draw with ten-man Arsenal.
While Declan Rice’s sending-off remains the subject of controversy, the Seagulls did well to equalise through Joao Pedro and secure themselves a point at the Emirates to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
Lewis Dunk was culpable for Albion conceding Arsenal’s opener as he misjudged a clearance which led to Bukayo Saka quickly claiming the loose ball.
The winger in turn found a darting Kai Havertz down the centre, who lobbed Bart Verbruggen with a well-timed finish.
The skipper however compensated for his error in judgement with a defence-splitting pass to find Yankuba Minteh’s run from over 30 yards out.
Although Minteh’s finish was saved by David Raya, the rebound fell to Joao Pedro, who slotted the ball into the back of the net with ease.
The vast majority believe that Albion should have secured their third consecutive victory against the Gunners yesterday, considering the fact that Declan Rice was sent off only four minutes into the second half.
Fabian Huerzeler shared the same sentiment, as indicated by his post-match press conference.
However, the silver lining indicates that Albion are on the right path under the German.
The 31-year-old has now secured two victories and one draw against Everton, Manchester United and Arsenal respectively.
