Tony Bloom could be set for involvement in the Scottish Premiership.
The Albion chairman is understood to be looking to invest in Hearts.
It would be a minority share in the fan-owned Edinburgh club.
Hearts would look to tap in to Bloom’s recruitment expertise.
In return, Bloom’s background at Albion will give him an appreciation of the important fan involvement at Tynecastle.
Bloom has a minority stake in Union St-Gilloise in Belgium, who have made great progress on the pitch since his involvement.
Plans for him to get involved with Hearts are said by an Argus contact in Edinburgh to be well advanced.
