Fabian Huerzeler has been charged by the FA after his red card against Nottingham Forest.
The Albion head coach is accused of acting in an improper manner during the flashpoint late in the 2-2 draw at the Amex.
His opposite number Nuno Espirito Santo faces a more wide-ranging charge.
The Portuguese coach must answer an accusation of acting in an improper manner and/or using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official.
There is no suggestion of abusive language from the Seagulls boss.
Espirito Santo was involved in angry, finger-pointing scenes with referee Robert Jones or fourth official Anthony Taylor.
It was understood at the time that Huerzeler’s red card was connected to encroachment as he made his point following a dangerous tackle by Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White in front of the technical areas.
Ther was then some confusion as Jones signalled that Gibbs-White had played the ball in his challenge on Joao Pedro.
But Jones then produced a second yellow and dismissed the Forest player, who was furious at the decision.
Gibbs-White has now been accused by the FA of acting in an improper manner and/or using abusive and/or insulting words towards Taylor.
All three have until Friday to respond.
