David Coote will referee Albion for the 17th time when they face Tottenham.
The Nottinghamshire-based official has been handed the middle for Sunday’s Premier League fixture.
His video assistant will be Paul Tierney.
Coote was last at the Amex on the opening day of last season, when both teams were awarded penalties as Luton were beaten 4-1.
Albion fans might also recall him sending off Aaron Mooy during a 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa five years ago.
His first Albion game was on the day former Tottenham defender Chris Hughton took charge of them for the first time, in a 2-0 FA Cup win over Brentford at Griffin Park.
This season, he has had five games and shown 23 yellow cards.
His most recent middle was for Crystal Palace’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
Coote has not produced a red card since last December.
The full officiating team for Albion v Tottenham is as follows.
Referee: David Coote. Assistants: Timothy Wood, Craig Taylor. Fourth official: Andy Madley. VAR: Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Adam Nunn.
