Albion will be able to offer their WSL fans two extra home league games per season.
The women’s top-flight is being extended from 12 teams to 14 from 2026-27.
Two second-tier teams will be promoted at the end of the coming season and the third-placed side will go into a play-off with the bottom team in the WSL.
That means the Seagulls will stage 13 home league fixtures from 2026-27, assuming they do not suffer a shock collapse in the coming campaign having come fifth last term.
The WSL season has had a lengthy winter break and been very stop-start in nature.
Albion boss Dario Vidosic has already admitted he would like more fixtures.
He told The Argus in January: “If you ask me personally, I would love to play more games. I think everyone would.
“The fans, the players, the coaches, we would love to play more games.
“At the moment, we are where we are.

“The strides and how far the women’s game has progressed in such a short period, I think it’s fantastic.
“The only way is up and I wouldn’t be surprised if we are just going to continue to grow and grow at a rapid speed.”
The news of an increase in fixtures will add importance to Albion’s efforts to provide a purpose-built women’s football stadium in or around Brighton and Hove.
Season tickets for the 11-game 2025-26 campaign are currently on general sale, priced £93 for adults, £60 for 65-plus and under-18s and £38.50 for under-tens.
