Igor Julio could be among Albion’s first departures this summer.

Real Sociedad are understood to be eyeing a permanent deal for the defender.

As of Tuesday evening, it was understood no offer had been made by the Basque club.

Igor signed from Fiorentina for £14 million almost two years ago.

The fee to take him to LaLiga could be similar were a move to go through.

Albion have a big squad and are set to add left-sided defender Olivier Boscagli as a free agent when his current deal with PSV expires.

Igor missed several months last season due to hamstring surgery, making his return at Tottenham at the end of the campaign.

He will be keen for a good pre-season and ideally any move would be completed before his club report back for duty.

The Brazilian recently revealed he expects to be moving on this summer, even though he would be happy to complete his contract with the Seagulls, which expires in 2027.

Igor said: “I don't see myself fulfilling the entire term of my contract .

“I have to take advantage of opportunities and time passes very quickly."

Igor did rehab work with Sao Paolo during his four-month absence from the Premier League.

La Real are regrouping this summer after a disappointing season which saw them end up in 11th place after five successive top-six finishes.
