Albion came from behind for three points – and it felt like they had scored three goals.

There were plenty of talking points as the Seagulls beat Brentford 2-1 to soar to a provisional fifth place in the table.

Recorded in the Falmer wind and rain which added to the challenge for both teams, our post-match audio runs through some of the main talking points.

Such as the goalscoring return by fit-again Jack Hinshelwood and his contrasting fortunes with those of colleague Carlos Baleba.

Or the quality of Danny Welbeck’s equaliser.

Plus the drama of Bart Verbruggen’s late penalty save.

Did anyone ever doubt him against spot kicks? Well, we did, and we put that question to him at the end of last season.

He answered in the best way possible and it was worth two points to his team.

Our audio attempts to capture some of the drama and excitement – and the weather – from an afternoon which saw Albion take their home points haul to 14 from six games.

We take you behind the scenes to what was being asked of Fabian Hurzeler once he had descended from his seat in the stand.

And to a reunion which would have had Liverpool fans pining for the good old days.

Our next audio offering will be the View From The Press Box podcast, which you can hear from late on Monday morning via our website or social platforms, including @Brian__Owen on X.
