Evan Ferguson says he is getting more comfortable with life in Italy after scoring his first goal at the Stadio Olimpico.
The on-loan Albion striker forced the ball home from close range as Roma beat Genoa 3-1 to boost their title hopes.
The usually goalshy Giallorossi had three by half-time with Ferguson involved in the second before scoring the third.
He led the attack and went off shortly before Genoa scored their late consolation.
Ferguson told Sky Italia. "It's completely different from English football.
“It was a big step for me, but it was an experience I wanted to try, and I'm getting more and more comfortable here."
The Republic of Ireland international has needed time to settle and was not helped by injury.
But he said: "Keep your head down and work hard.
