A boxing club is appealing for help to find a new permanent home.
South Downs Amateur Boxing Club, based in Burgess Hill, is calling on businesses, organisations and property owners to help it secure a larger space to support its growing membership and expand its community programmes.
The England Boxing-affiliated club currently operates from the Park Centre but now needs a more permanent facility to continue its development.
Shaun Stepney, club director and coach, said: "We’re really proud of how far the club has come and very grateful to have had a space that has allowed us to get South Downs established.
"We're now ready for the next chapter.
"Our ambition is to build a strong competitive amateur boxing club alongside the community work that is so important to us, and we'd love to find a space that we can make our own and grow into for the future."
The club offers competitive and recreational boxing for children, teenagers and adults.
It also runs community programmes including boxing for people with Parkinson’s, girls only and dedicated sessions for young people not in education.

Mr Stepney said the club is open to a range of possibilities for its new location.
He said: "We’re very open-minded about what that might look like.
"It doesn't need to be a ready-made gym – it could be an unused hall, warehouse, industrial unit, sports facility or another building that could be given a new lease of life.
"There may be a space somewhere in Burgess Hill that somebody hasn't considered for this sort of use.
"We'd love to hear from businesses, organisations, landlords or local residents who might be able to point us in the right direction."
South Downs ABC hopes a new, dedicated home will allow it to expand its competitive boxing programme, welcome more members and create a long-term boxing and community facility for Burgess Hill.
The ideal space would be large enough to house a boxing ring, punch bags and training equipment.
Anyone who knows of a suitable location or can offer support is asked to contact the club at info@southdownsabc.co.uk.
