Burgess Hill and Jersey Bulls will have to meet again on Tuesday evening in Mid Sussex after it finished goalless in their FA Cup encounter.

Chances were at an absolute premium throughout and it won’t live long in the memory, but Burgess Hill were the more likely side throughout and the best chance of the first half came when Ben Pope nodded a cross down for captain Kieran Rowe, but his shot took a big deflection which visiting Jersey goalkeeper managed to stop well right on the line.

The second half followed the same pattern of Burgess Hill huffing and puffing but not breaking the Bulls down.

Despite hitting the post, it finished honours even and Jersey could and maybe should have even nicked it at the death.
