Fabian Hurzeler believes Chema Andres can help Albion enjoy the best of both worlds thanks to his Spanish upbringing.

The former Real Madrid youngster has made a strong start to life in the Premier League following his summer switch from Stuttgart.

He is hoping to get some game time at Getafe after securing tickets for 25 friends and relatives.

Hurzeler believes LaLiga and the Premier League have different qualities.

But Chema can combine the best of them.

Speaking ahead of Albion’s Conference League clash with Getafe, head coach Hurzeler said: “A few weeks ago, I read this interview from (Anthony) Gordon, who went to Barcelona and he spoke about the differences and he spoke about that the Premier League is quite physical, a lot of personal duels, a lot of physicality in and out possession, a lot of speed in the games.

“And here in LaLiga, you have a lot of good football teams, who find good solutions in tight spaces.

“You have a lot of good football players who are technical, very well educated.

“That's also how I see the biggest difference.

“On the one side you have the Premier League with a lot of physicality, physical demands, with a lot of personal duels.

“Set-pieces play a big key in our league.

“And here you have really, really good football teams, really well-educated footballers.

“You see it also with Chema Andres in our squad.

“He is so well-educated. He is technical, so clean in the things he's doing and I think it's a prime example of the differences.”

Chema might have to wait for his chance at the Coliseum as Hurzeler assesses his options.

He has Pascal Gross, Malick Yalcouye, Yasin Ayari and possibly Olivier Boscagli among his midfield choices and will have half an eye on the Premier League clash with Brentford on Sunday.
