Albion remain on the brink of the League One relegation zone after being well beaten at Withdean this evening.

The Seagulls went down 4-2 to impressive Milton Keynes Dons, despite going ahead in only the second minute.

Bradley Johnson gave them a dream start by chipping keeper Willy Gueret after being released by Glenn Murray's clever free-kick.

Dons deservedly levelled when Miguel Angel Llera headed in a corner.

Jemal Johnson put the visitors ahead almost immediately after the break with brilliant skill on the left edge of the area and a stunning angled drive past John Sullivan Peter Leven looked to have made the game safe when he made the most of Tommy Elphick's failure to deal with a routine long ball midway through the half.

Substitute Stuart Fleetwood replied with a late volley after Colin Hawkins helped the ball on.

However an awful night defensively for the Seagulls was rounded off when Jason Puncheon went on a run from halfway and tricked his way past Matt Richards and Johnson beefore driving low past Sullivan.

A crowd of 5,691 looked on as the Seagulls' bad run was extended to one draw and five defeats from the last six games.

Albion will drop into the bottom four for the first time this season if Yeovil win at home to Stockport tomorrow.
