Albion will have to continue their relegation fight without key striker Glenn Murray until at least next month.

Murray and long-serving defender Kerry Mayo have both had hernia operations in Germany and are unlikely to resume training for a fortnight.

Murray has scored ten goals in 20 League appearances but has missed the last seven matches with a recurrence of an injury which troubled him earlier in the season and has turned out to be a double hernia.

Captain Nicky Forster will be Albion’s only recognised front man at Millwall tomorrow if Craig Davies does not recover from a virus, since Calvin Andrew is out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Midfielder Jason Jarrett has the same illness as Davies. Manager Micky Adams said: “They are both on antibiotics and hopefully they will be okay.”

David Livermore misses out against his old club as he begins a three-match ban for his red card at Luton on Tuesday.

Cup-tied pair Jim McNulty and Seb Carole are back in the squad along with Kevin McLeod, who has recovered from a back spasm.

Out-of-favour Jonny Dixon, an unused substitute at Luton, has suffered an injury after rejoining Eastleigh on loan.

Albion fans travelling to south London by car tomorrow have been advised by Millwall to allow plenty of time for their journey, due to roadworks in the area.
