Albion boss Gus Poyet is hoping his side are paired with a Premier League giant.

Even though he knows it would be a massive test of his management skills.

The Seagulls learn this afternoon who they will meet in the third round of the FA Cup after going through against Rushden.

Poyet, a Wembley winner with Chelsea, said: "One of the best things in the FA Cup is having the chance to play against a big one.

"The players would love that, the fans too. I don't know about myself!

"But it's the nice part of the cup and we are looking forward to the draw."

Gary Hart, who made his 400th appearance when he came off the bench against Rushden, echoed his manager's thoughts.

Hart said: "We just want one of the big teams. We're not going to win the cup so we might as well get a big team, have a great day out, then get on with the league.

"We played against Spurs before and that was probably one of the best days of my career.

"I'd like to do something like that again."

The third round takes place on the first weekend in January.

Albion's progress means their trip to Stockport, previously scheduled for January 2, will be re-arranged.
