George O'Callaghan will not be rejoining Albion.

The club's former midfielder has been let go after linking up with the Seagulls last week on trial.

Seb Carole remains on trial but the chances of the ex-Albion winger and fringe players getting a much-needed run-out in the reserves at Eastbourne Borough tomorrow night could be scuppered by the weather.

There are no fresh injury worries following Saturday's FA Cup victory at Torquay and manager Gus Poyet is hopeful of adding to his squad before Saturday's visit of Brentford.

One signing has been confirmed. Goalkeeper Peter Brezovan put pen to paper yesterday on a deal for the rest of the season after losing his place to Michel Kuipers at Torquay.

Albion are still waiting to hear from Arsenal regarding their plans to keep hold of on-loan right-back Gavin Hoyte for the remainder of the campaign.

Poyet will be joined by assistant Mauricio Taricco and first team coach Charlie Oatway for three fans' forums throughout Sussex in aid of the club's community department.

The series kicks-off at the Coral greyhound stadium in Hove on January 21. Tickets, priced £10 in advance or £12 on the door, include food.
