Albion have missed out on a £144,000 FA Cup windfall after ITV decided not to televise their tie at Aston Villa.
They have selected instead four other fourth round matches for live coverage, so the Seagulls' trip to Villa Park goes ahead on Saturday January 23 (3pm).
Albion still have a chance to pocket £90,000 in prize money by causing an upset against the Premier League club to add to the £112,500 they have already won for beating Wycombe, Rushden and Diamonds and Torquay.
