Find out the transfer deadline day deals, including any Albion business, as they happened throughout the day.

8.02pm: All in all, it has been a somewhat disappointing transfer deadline day. Albion failed to make a signing like they suggested they would and the only movement with the Seagulls was the departure of Kevin McLeod to Wycombe and Craig Davies extending his loan at Port Vale until the end of the season. Elsewhere, the biggest move so far has been Adam Johnson's switch from Middlesbrough to Manchester City while Robbie Keane is still tipped to sign for Celtic on loan before the midnight deadline in Scotland. I suppose we will now have to wait to the loan window opens to see if Albion can bring anyone else in.

7.55pm: Crawley's Charlie Ademeno is staying put despite the Reds and the player agreeing a move late in the day which could not be completed by the 5pm deadline.

7.48pm: To wrap up a few late deals - Oldham have signed Crystal Palace goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan on loan, Stockport's Michael Raynes has moved to Scunthorpe for an undisclosed fee and Gillingham have signed Southend striker James Walker, who has previously been on loan at Priestfield. In the Championship, Middlesbrough completed deals for Celtic's Scott McDonald and Aberdeen forward Lee Miller.

5.45pm: Manchester City have confirmed they have signed winger Adam Johnson from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee on a four-and-a-half year contract.

5.25pm: Birmingham's Northern Ireland midfielder Damien Johnson has joined Plymouth on a two-and-a-half year contract. Plymouth striker Steven MacLean is believed to be joining Aberdeen while Derby have taken Stoke midfielder Michael Tonge on loan.

5.18pm: League One basement side Stockport have signed Leeds defender Paul Huntington in a permanent deal while Southampton's Oliver Lancashire has rejoined Grimsby on loan.

5.15pm: Tottenham defender Alan Hutton has completed a loan move to Sunderland.

5.13pm: We have just had confirmation from Albion that no deals went through before the 5pm deadline.

5.10pm: Tottenham striker Robbie Keane is apparently heading to Scotland to complete a loan move to Celtic. The transfer window in Scotland closes at midnight so that deal could go through later.

5.08pm: Sunderland's Northern Ireland striker David Healy has joined Ipswich on loan.

5.00pm: The window has shut but that is not the end of things. It often takes a while for confirmation of deals to come through so there could still be news on signings for Albion and clubs across the country. I'm sure a few fax machines have been buzzing in the last ten minutes.

4.58pm: Reports suggest Stoke striker James Beattie is having a medical at Sunderland. He better hurry up. Watford striker Marvin Sordell has joined Tranmere on loan.

4.55pm: Fulham defender Toni Kallio has rejoined Sheffield United on loan for the rest of the season.

4.54pm: Reports in Spain say Madrid are close to accepting 16 million euro offer from Man City for Fernando Gago.

4.52pm: Wigan have signed Bolivia striker Marcelo Moreno on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk until the end of the season.

4.47pm: The clock is really starting to count down now and still no news yet on any Albion signings.

4.40pm: Albion striker Craig Davies' loan spell at Port Vale has been extended until the end of the season.

4.33pm: Carlisle have made a second loan signing, taking striker Daryl Duffy from Bristol Rovers.

4.28pm: Mido has completed his move to West Ham on a four-month loan.

4.22pm: Liverpool youngster Christopher Buchtmann has joined Fulham on an 18-month deal but it seems unlikely the Cottagers will now be signing James Beattie from Stoke.

4.14pm: Robinho, whose loan move from Manchester City went through last week, has just arrived by helicopter, alongside Pele, at Santos's home ground Vila Belmiro where a full house has turned up on a Monday morning to welcome him back. Don't suppose McLeod will get the same greeting at Wycombe.

4.10pm: Big striker John Akinde has joined Brentford on loan from Bristol City. The Bees have also extended the loan deals of Tommy Smith and Lionel Ainsworth.

4.00pm: One hour to go. Wycombe have released former Chelsea defender Michael Duberry, who recent lost his place to new signing Adam Hinshelwood.

3.44pm: Still no news on any Albion signings yet. Are you getting worried that there is no news yet? Let us know.

3.43pm: Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has yet to sign anyone today but his son, Alex, has joined Leicester on loan from Ipswich.

1.56pm: Leeds have made their first move of the day by signing Aston Villa defender Shane Lowry on loan. But will Jermaine Beckford be staying?

1.53pm: It's hotting up with lots of deals being confirmed. Benni McCarthy has completed his move to West Ham from Blackburn, David Nugent has extended his loan from Portsmouth to Burnley until the end of the season and David Prutton has completed his move to Colchester.

1.45pm: Manuel Fernandes is being linked with a loan move to Portsmouth from Valencia. Brazil striker Kleber, who liverpool wanted last summer, has just seen a move to Porto collapse after failing to agree personal terms, while his international colleague, winger Mancini, has gone on loan from Inter to Milan.

1.35pm: Oldham have confirmed the signing of Millwall forward Jason Price on a month's loan.
