Eastbourne Eagles are shaking things up for their Good Friday double-header.

But they might have to do without Lukas Dryml for home and away meetings with Lakeside Hammers.

The Czech fears he cracked ribs when falling in Saturday’s home defeat by Swindon.

Eastbourne will operate rider replacement if he cannot make meetings in Essex at 1pm and back at Arlington at 7.45pm.

Dryml, or rider replacement, will not feature in heat one as boss Trevor Geer re-shuffles his riding order.

Simon Gustafsson, who struggled at No. 5 against the Robins, moves up to two to partner Matej Zagar.

Dryml will go alongside Cameron Woodward while experienced Joonas Kylmakorpi takes the more exposed No. 5 berth, which means riding his first three races alongside reserves.

Zagar and Dryml made life tough for each other in heat one at home to Swindon as the Robins picked up a 5-1.

Geer said: “I’d said we would play around with the order and I don’t think it worked on Saturday.

“Heat one didn’t go well at all. And we had Joonas and Cam together but they were tending to ride the same line.

“We know Cam goes well with Lukas and I think Joonas will be happy with the reserves, where he can do his own thing.

“Simon didn’t go well on Saturday but you know he will only improve on that.”

Dryml left Saturday’s meeting after his handlebars smashed into his ribs when falling.

Geer added: “I’ll know more about him later this week but he was still in pain on Sunday night, which suggests he might have cracked a rib or two.”

Eagles: Zagar, Gustafsson, Dryml, Woodward, Kylmakorpi, Kling, Lampart.
