Mauricio Taricco has removed any doubts about his Albion future by pledging to continue his partnership with Gus Poyet.
Taricco, by his own admission, found life difficult at first after swapping a tranquil life in Sardinia to become former Spurs team-mate Poyet’s assistant at the Seagulls in November.
The 37-year-old Argentinian has now grown into the role and wants to help Poyet turn Albion from relegation candidates into promotion contenders next season.
He told The Argus: “I am more settled. Gus is helping me a lot and I’m all right.
“My future is with Gus, I am learning a lot. At the end of the day it’s not about me, it’s if I am able to help Gus, the players and the club.
“I want to feel I can help. As long as they are happy with what I can give then it is okay.”
