MIDFIELDER Thomas Pinault, one of the club’s longest serving players, is leaving Crawley.
The former Brentford midfielder, who made 125 appearances for Reds in three seasons, is returning to his native France.
Boss Steve Evans has started his contract negotiations and revealed that two players, goalkeeper Simon Rayner and defender Karl Broadhurst, have been released.
Rayner was a virtual ever present under Evans, making 92 appearances after joining from Torquay in 2008.
He lost his place to former Portsmouth keeper Nick Jordan for the last seven games of the season and although Evans has confirmed that he will have two goalkeepers next season the big Canadian is not in his plans.
Neither is former Hereford defender Broadhurst, who joined the club at the start of last season and made 37 appearances.
Reds have offered new deals to Jordan, Sam Rents, Simon Rusk, skipper Adam Quinn, Glenn Wilson and Danny Forrest and Evans will conclude his discussions with the remaining squad members, including Lewis Killeen, Barry Cogan and Ben Smith, today.
