Gary Hart has been told he could still have a future with Albion.
The out-of-contract striker, currently sidelined by a back problem, will be back for pre-season training with the Seagulls.
Manager Gus Poyet revealed to The Argus: "We are going to manage it in the next few weeks. We need to make sure he is right. I think he is a great character and squad player to have around."
The future of Hart's fellow Albion stalwart Michel Kuipers, who is out with a broken thumb, will be resolved tomorrow.
Poyet said: "We have a meeting with Michel. We are going to talk about plenty of things. For different reasons, especially because of his injury, we were just waiting."
Centre half Colin Hawkins, absent with an Achilles injury since Poyet took over, has also been invited to pre-season training. The same arrangement is likely to be offered to French winger Seb Carole. His future will be confirmed after the final game of the season at home to Yeovil on Saturday.
Defender Steve Cook and midfielder Jamie Smith will be part of the new development squad next season. Poyet will also speak to young keeper Josh Pelling tomorrow but winger Steve Brinkhurst has been released after a year as a pro.
