Albion expect to complete the signing of Gordon Greer tomorrow.
The Seagulls have agreed a fee for the Swindon skipper but part of his medical was delayed today.
Paperwork is due to be completed tomorrow morning.
Albion managing director Ken Brown said: "It is nothing to worry about. We are planning to complete tomorrow."
It is unclear whether Greer will play against Whitehawk tomorrow night.
