The big Slovak keeper got through his first 90 minutes after recovering from a broken wrist and dived to his left to keep out Stuart Green in the first half after himself conceding the spot kick with a foul on Nathan Olukanmi.
George Barker was twice denied at the other end by Steven Arnold.
Albion defender Lewis Dunk came through 45 minutes on his comeback from a stress fracture of the left foot.
