Guy Butters is back in training with Albion.

But the big centre back is not setting any dates for a possible return to serious action.

The former Tottenham and Portsmouth defender has missed the opening part of the League One season with back trouble.

He enjoyed some light training with his team mates at Falmer yesterday and has also been working in the gym.

Butters has been impressed by what he has seen of the Albion defence in his absence but admits he hates being out of action and cannot wait to return to full fitness.

He said: "When I'm injured it's a nightmare. I don't know how people who are out for longer get through it.

"But it was nice to take part in a light session with the lads and hopefully I'll kick on from there."

Albion are selling half-price tickets for tomorrow's Carling Cup first round tie with Boston.

Adults can get in for £12, senior citizens for £6.50 and under-16s for £7 while family-of-four tickets start at £25.

The club are selling tickets over the phone or via their website up to two hours before kick-off for collection at the stadium this season.

Their ticket office number is (01273) 776992 with online sales available at seagulls.co.uk.
