Matt Tubbs scored twice and Crawley's three new strikers also netted in a 6-1 drubbing of a Chelsea XI at the Broadfield Stadium.
It was a pleasing afternoon for boss Steve Evans in front of a crowd of 1,298 as Wes Thomas, with two, John Akinde, and Tyrone Barnett each opened their Reds account.
Crawley took just 11 minutes to break the deadlock as Akinde's flick-on picked out Scott Neilson who teed up Tubbs for a simple finish.
Tubbs doubled the advantage four minutes later from the penalty spot after Chelsea defender Sam Hutchinson handled.
Strike partner Akinde grabbed the third on the half-hour mark with a close-range header.
Crawley made nine changes at half-time and the new forward pairing linked up to make it 4-0 on 56 minutes as Thomas converted Barnett's centre.
Adam Phillip pulled one back three minutes later with a smart finish in-off the far post.
But Barnett headed home powerfully 12 minutes from time to make it 5-1 and Thomas scored his second of the game with five minutes remaining.
On the stroke of full-time Thomas thumped a header against the crossbar.
